Police have dispersed a large gathering of teenagers at Prout Park in Mount Pritchard on Friday night, February 6 at around 10:50pm after hundreds of young people reportedly travelled from across Sydney to attend the event.

Multiple police vehicles were seen responding to the area on Cabramatta Road.

The party attracted a significant crowd prompting police to respond due to public safety concerns. The NSW Police PolAir was deployed and made announcements from above, instructing teenagers to leave the area.

Officers on the ground then moved in to break up the gathering which ended the party earlier than expected. No serious injuries were reported and there was no immediate confirmation of arrests or fines.

According to witnesses posting in a local Facebook community group called Mount Pritchard & Surrounds Community Group, the teenagers were respectful and complied with lawful directions from police. Many were seen leaving the park calmly while others waited nearby for their parents to arrive and collect them.
