Police will also allege that officers found a quantity of drugs and a counterfeit $50 note inside the vehicle.
Further checks revealed the driver held a provisional licence that, according to police, expired in 2015.
A 46-year-old man who was seated in the back of the Corolla suffered a facial laceration and was taken to Liverpool Hospital for medical treatment. The front passenger, a 31-year-old woman, was not injured.
Neither passenger was arrested.
