Erin Patterson, who was at the center of global headlines after serving a meal containing deadly death cap mushrooms that led to the deaths of three people, has finally learned her fate over two years later.
The 50-year-old has been sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 33 years to be served before she can apply for parole, after being found guilty of murdering three of her lunch guests.
