🌱 Start Small — Go at Your Own Pace
Not ready to speak live on-air or join group meetings? That’s completely okay. Many of our roles are flexible, and we’re happy to support you in a way that suits you. You can:
- Record your show privately and submit it remotely
- Help behind the scenes — with social media, playlists, or scheduling
- Start with short segments or partner with a team member
- Choose quieter, low-pressure roles
- Shadow someone until you feel ready

Question: I’m really nervous about speaking live on air. Do I have to?
Answer: Not at all! You can start with pre-recorded shows or behind-the-scenes roles. We’ll support you every step of the way.
Question: What if I get anxious meeting new people?
Answer: We understand that can be scary. You can take your time and we’ll connect you with a supportive mentor to help ease your mind.
Question: I don’t have any experience is that okay?
Answer: Absolutely! We welcome beginners and provide guidance to help you learn and grow at your own pace.
Question: What if I need to take a break or step back?
Answer: That’s perfectly fine. We know life gets busy or overwhelming sometimes. Just let us know, and you can return whenever you’re ready.
Question: Can I contribute without being in Sydney all the time?
Answer: Yes! Many roles can be done remotely, and we’re flexible to fit your situation.
Question: I’m not sure if I’m good enough or confident enough what if I can’t do it?
Answer: So many people feel this way at the beginning and that’s okay. You don’t need to be perfect. We’re here to help you learn, grow, and find your voice. Confidence comes with support and practice, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
